There’s Much To Be Thankful For

As Thanksgiving nears we should all be thinking of what we’re thankful for this holiday season.  I am thankful for so much – and as I was making my list of what I’m thankful for I realized something…

This Thanksgiving is going to be one of the most memorable by far.

This has been the first year of my life (or that I can remember anyway) that everything around me is in a positive state.  This year has been hard, lots of challenges, but as I recall everything that has happened to me – it has actually been all positive stuff (or ended up being positive stuff).

For the last several years of my life it’s felt like challenge after challenge.  A lot of hard work, and as they say – blood, sweat, and tears.  But this year seems so different.  Yes, it’s been hard and challenging – but it’s been so positive at the same time.  For once I actually feel like my life is ‘happening in a big way’ and it’s what I’ve worked so hard to achieve.  I’ve lost a lot of people I loved over the years and I knew early on that I wanted to make things happen in a ‘big’ way – simply to live each day as if it were my last.

However, some days are challenging and hard – and are just not ‘good days’. Some days I wished for ‘do-overs’. But what I’ve realized is that those bad days were actually good days because I learned so much from each of them.  I’m THANKFUL for them.  Those good and bad days are molding me into what I’m becoming…

So this Thanksgiving season I’m thankful for all of the goodness in my life.  For the positive vibe and for all the great people around me.  A few thankful things:

All of my family – they all are my rock… I love you guys!  Thank you!
My Health for sure – Thank God I’m healthy (other than my wisdom teeth)!
FWPI (Family Wealth Planning Institute) and the amazing team – Love ya!  Thank you!

But most importantly – I’m thankful for each day. For the challenges, for the heartache, for the good and the bad, and simply for the goodness.

Get out there… enjoy your life – and be thankful!
